Privacy Statement

Purpose of the data processing

The organisers of WELTPP respect the privacy of all attendees and will process their personal data accordingly. The local organisers are processing personal data for the following purposes:

Some more details on our data processing

The local organisers are only collecting (personal) data that is strictly necessary in order to organise the workshop. These data are collected through an online registration form thereby using the services of Google (Google Forms and Google Drive). Once the (extended) registration deadline has passed the collected data will be removed from the cloud of this provider.

We do have two categories of collected data:

Your email address is only accessible to the local organisers and Google services in order to send a confirmation email after succesful registration.

Data from category A1 will be shared in form of a room assignment list with the conference hotel (venue). Data from category A1 + A2, except for the email address, will be used for the badges and to prepare the invoices together with the corresponding contact person of your institution among the advisory board members. Invoices will be sent by the finacial administration of TU/e (DFEZ). Data from category B is only visible to the local organisers in order to compile the room assignment list or establish the anonymised list for the meals.

Data will be processed and stored in a protected environment of the local organisers. None of the collected data will be shared with other (third) parties or for other purpose than stated here.

While visiting our webpage data is collected that is automatically sent by your computer, mobile equipment or other equipment which is used to access our site. More precisely, the following data is collected for the management and improvement of our webpage as well as troubleshooting purposes:

In case you feel that your questions are not sufficiently answered you may wish to report this to the data protection officer of the TU/e.
